Maulana Nimatullah's letter to those who are fighting for the freedom of their country

To

The Leaders of Islamic Resistance Movement,

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Allah Almighty said: “Permission (to fight) is given to those against whom fighting is launched, because they have been wronged, and Allah is powerful to give them victory.” [22:39]

May Allah give you a mighty victory in your great efforts to liberate Al-Quds and the Palestinian land from the brutal hands of the Zionists, because the land is yours legally and as per the Shariah, as well as in the light of the Torah. I wanted to draw your attention to the duty of dawah – along with what you give of your lives and precious resources to resist the Zionists, as the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) presented Islam to them in Khaybar through Sayyidna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him. There are several hadiths that say that thousands of the Jewish people will convert to Islam, and will participate with them - the Muslims - in the war. Therefore, it is possible that some of them will be fortunate to accept Islam on account of this dawah, Allah willing.

As for what we said that the land is yours, according to law as well as Shariah, is obvious. It is also proved from the texts of the Torah, because Allah Almighty made a covenant with Abraham and his descendants that he would give them the land of Canaan. As this covenant was meant for Isaac and his children, in the same way it was meant for Ishmael and his children. This covenant was reiterated through the tongue of Jacob, for he said when he was dying in Egypt: All of you gather together so that I may inform you of what will come to you on the Last Day. O sons of Jacob! Listen to your father Israel. And he said something about everyone. He said about Judah: The power will not be separated from him and the rod of government will not cease from his children until Shiloh (Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace) comes.

It was mentioned in the Torah that Allah covenanted with Abraham and his descendants that He would give all of the land of Canaan to them forever, and this covenant was for the children of Ishmael as it was for the children of Isaac. I will try to explain this to you in detail with texts from the Torah:

[1] Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

[2] And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

[3] And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.

[4] And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

[5] And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.

[6] But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.

[7] And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.

[8] And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.

[9] And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.

[10] And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

[11] And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.

[12] And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

[13] And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?

[14] Wherefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.

[15] And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son's name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael.

[16] And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram. (Genesis 16:1-16)

At another place, God said to Ibrahim:

[5] Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

[6] And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

[7] And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

[8] And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

[9] And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.

[10] This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

[11] And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you. (Genesis 17:5-11)

It is mentioned at another place:

[23] And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.

[24] And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.

[25] And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.

[26] In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son. (Genesis 17:23-26)

[2] For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

[3] And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.

[4] And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him. (Genesis 21:2-4)

[9] And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.

[10] Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

[11] And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son.

[12] And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

[13] And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed. (Genesis 21:9-13)

(Then goes the story of Abraham and Ishmael - peace be upon them)

The Prophet Ishmael (peace be upon him) used to go to Makkah to visit his father the Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him), similarly Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) used to come to meet his son the Prophet Ishmael. When the Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) died, his sons Ishaq and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, facing Mamre. Here he remembered all the children of Ishmael by their names.

Therefore, what God promised equally applies to Isaac and his descendants as well as to Ishmael and his children. So it is mentioned in the Torah:

[1] And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.

[2] Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father. (Genesis 49:1-2)

[10] The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh (i.e. the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. (Genesis 49:10)

So, the children of Judah continued to rule until the arrival of the Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him). However, first they were expelled from Jerusalem, then during the reign of the Prophet Dawid (peace be upon them) they recaptured it. After the Prophet Dawid and Solomon (peace be upon them), Nebuchadnezzar II expelled them from there and took them as captives to Babylon, where they settled and were prevented to return to Jerusalem. Then the Iranian king Khosrow gave them the permission to settle in Jerusalem and Darius organized their stay there. Then after the descent of the Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him), they were expelled from Jerusalem by the Romans and thereafter they never settled in Jerusalem again, until the time of Umar bin Khattab, when Jerusalem was conquered by the Muslims. The mayor of Jerusalem requested Muslims to see their leader and make peace with him. So the peace agreement was written and it was stipulated that Jews will not settle in Jerusalem.

From then on, Jerusalem was ruled by the children of Ishmael, until the Ottomans were defeated in the World War I, thus Egypt came under the French rule, and Palestine came under the British rule. The then-US President said: “I am the Khosrow of this age, I will settle them here, I will take responsibility for it, and the Jews will now settle in this land.”

If you can plead with the Pope Francis, plead with him with all respect that the descent of the Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) is close in time, so what do you say about the Jews? What is your stand about them? The Jew call the real Messiah, Jesus, the Antichrist, but call the real Dajjal (Antichrist) as their Messiah, and the Jews of the whole world will lend their support to the Antichrist. So, if you close your eyes to this important issue, then after the descent of Jesus Christ how will you face him?

Therefore, you are requested to explain these important issues to those who agree with you, and explain the issue in detail.

Wa-Assalamu Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu
