Arshad Madani is the son of Maulana Syed Hussain Ahmad Madani, who was the former President, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, and Prisoner of Malta. He was also Head of Teachers and Professor of Hadees in Darul Uloom, Deoband, Uttar Pradesh, India.
