Hamas is fighting for the survival and freedom of its country. Arshad Madani

Hamas is fighting for the freedom of their country Read the history, this truth will come out automatically that who is the oppressor and who is the oppressed?: Maulana Arshad Madani New Delhi: 05 November 2023 Expressing his reaction to the ongoing war between Palestine and Israel, Maulana Arshad Madani of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind has said that it cannot be called a war, because war is what is between equal powers. On the one hand here is the one who is equipped with the most modern and dangerous weapons in the world, and who has the open support of many powerful countries of the world whereas on the other side is the one who is helpless and has nothing. However, if it is said that it will be correct that this is a war between the oppressor and the oppressed. He said that the world knows that Israel is an usurper and has illegally occupied the territories of Palestine by force, for the freedom of which, the people of Palestine have been struggling for a long time. Maulana Madani also said that those who fight for the freedom of their country are called Freedom-Fighters and not terrorists. In this regard, he referred to Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and said that on the one hand Mahatma Gandhi was the pioneer of non-violence in India's freedom struggle, who was in favor of a peaceful movement to liberate the country from the British rule, and on the other hand there was Netaji who believed that the British would not to leave the country through a peaceful movement but for that a violent movement is needed, and that is why he gave this famous slogan that " Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom." Mahatma Gandhi's position was right at one point, on the other hand the position of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose cannot be mistaken because he was an ardent freedom fighter and wanted to see his country free at any cost. Maulana Madani also presented the example of Taliban and said that at one time Taliban were also called terrorists, but now that they have come to power in Afghanistan, this opinion has changed, no one calls them terrorists anymore. He emphasized that it is not fair to call them terrorists just because they are Muslims who are fighting for the freedom of their country. Maulana Madani further said that a terrorist is someone who spreads terror everywhere, but here the case is the totally different. Rather, all their activities are limited to Palestine, its resources are limited, even sometimes they do not have food items, but despite this, they are constantly active for the freedom of their country. The courage and bravery they showed in the last few days, even entering the house and killing the powerful usurper by attacking them, was an extraordinary act. Although they put their lives at risk by doing this, they probably think that without such sacrifices, the country cannot be freed from the clutches of usurpers. He also said that Israel has been shedding the blood of helpless people for the past several decades by targeting women and children with extreme brutality, but the world has not dared to call it a terrorist. Perhaps because it has the backing of the United States, on the other hand, those people are being called and written as terrorists without thinking, who are struggling to liberate their country in a state of extreme helplessness and defenselessness. At the end, Maulana Madani asked the people not to be influenced by the propaganda spread by newspapers and TV channels, but read the history of the region before passing any final opinion about the people of Palestine. After that, the truth will come out that who is the oppressor and who is the oppressed? ...END
